STABLE ZOOM 2/11/21

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program is designed to help health care providers (medical, nursing and other allied personnel) organize care during the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization period. The mnemonic S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Artificial Breathing, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, Emotional Support) was developed to help with the recall of information and organization of care in the pre-transport or transfer period. Ultimately, a uniform comprehensive approach during this period may improve the infants overall stability and outcome. The Zoom class is for renewing students ONLY.

Preparation

  1. Textbook: The S.T.A.B.L.E. textbook can be purchased at  https://stableprogram.org/shop/ 
  2. Pre-Class: Eligible students for ZOOM Class are renewing students ONLY. Conversation with Lead Instructor. Attestation form (this will be sent in a follow up email) please print and complete the following: Attestation form, Pre-test Answer sheet, Post Test answer sheet, and Evaluation form. These will be contained in an email you will receive after confirmation of class.
  3. Post-Class: Turn in the following forms to the Lead Instructor: Attestation form, Pre-test Answer sheet, Post Test answer sheet, and Evaluation form. All of these forms must be turned in PRIOR to obtaining S.T.A.B.L.E. Card and CEU Certificate.
